Board Certified foot & ankle surgeon specializing in wound care and minimally invasive surgery.
Dr. Beth S. Pearce is a board-certified podiatric physician and surgeon with more than 40 years of experience treating foot, ankle, and lower-extremity conditions. Her practice focuses on relieving pain, restoring function, and helping patients return to the activities that matter to them, with an emphasis on finding the least invasive effective treatment for each individual.
Her first step with every patient is understanding why it hurts. Dr. Pearce has particular expertise in lower-extremity pain and neuropathy, interventional pain therapies, biomechanics, regenerative and functional medicine, and minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery. She treats conditions ranging from heel pain, bunions, hammertoes, and arthritis to persistent or nerve-related pain that has not responded to previous care.
Dr. Pearce has extensive experience in the evaluation and treatment of chronic and neuropathic pain, including peripheral nerve entrapments. Her work includes peripheral neuromodulation and other targeted interventional therapies. She has served as a clinical consultant and medical educator in peripheral neuromodulation and has published on lower-extremity nerve entrapment and peripheral nerve stimulation.
Whenever possible, Dr. Pearce emphasizes nonsurgical and minimally invasive treatment. Her approach may incorporate biomechanical evaluation, orthotic therapy, rehabilitation, regenerative and functional medicine, and targeted interventional treatments tailored to the patient’s diagnosis, function, and goals.
When surgery is appropriate, Dr. Pearce brings extensive experience in minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery. She is a Professor with the Academy of Minimally Invasive Foot and Ankle Surgery and has served as Vice President.
Dr. Pearce was appointed to the Florida Board of Podiatric Medicine and later served as its Chair. She is board certified in podiatric surgery, primary podiatric medicine, podiatric orthopedics, and minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery, with additional qualifications in wound care and amputation prevention.
After more than four decades in practice, her goal remains straightforward: understand what is causing the problem, relieve pain, restore function, and accomplish it with the least invasive effective treatment whenever possible.
